WHAT THIS WEBSITE COLLECTS This website is a set of static pages. It has no accounts, no login and no forms. It sets no cookies of its own, we run no analytics on it, and we do not track you across other websites. Three third-party services are embedded in these pages and may collect information under their own policies: Peek Pro — our booking and payment provider. The booking widget, and every booking link on this site, goes to Peek Pro. Google Maps — the map showing where the Adventure Crate is. Loading a map allows Google to see your IP address and to set its own cookies. YouTube — the walkthrough video on the home page. It is embedded through YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain, which sets no cookies until you press play, but loading the page still lets Google see your IP address. WHAT WE COLLECT WHEN YOU BOOK Booking, payment and the liability waiver are handled through Peek Pro. To rent from us you provide: your name, email address and telephone number; payment card details, which go to Peek Pro's payment processor — we never see or store your full card number; a signed liability waiver; and a photograph of a government identification document, used to confirm who is renting. We also generate the PIN codes issued for your booking, keep a record of the booking, and receive the return photographs you text us at the end of your rental. HOW WE USE IT To take and fulfil your reservation and issue your access codes. To contact you about your rental. To confirm equipment has been returned and secured. To meet our legal, insurance and tax obligations, including keeping signed waivers. To answer you when you get in touch. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. WHO WE SHARE IT WITH Peek Pro and its payment processor, so that bookings and payments can be taken. Professional advisers, insurers, and law enforcement or a court where we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim. We do not share your information with anyone else. HOW LONG WE KEEP IT We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described above, or for as long as the law requires. Signed waivers and the identification attached to them are kept for longer than a booking record, because a waiver is only useful if it survives long enough to be relied on. YOUR CHOICES You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask for a copy of it, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@greenbeltoutdoors.com and we will respond. We will honour those requests whether or not a privacy statute obliges a business of our size to. If a request would require us to destroy a signed waiver we may still need to rely on, we will tell you so rather than quietly refuse. CHILDREN Our services are not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a child. An adult must make the booking and sign the waiver for any minor using our equipment. SECURITY We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission over the internet, and no method of storage, is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. COOKIES This website sets no cookies of its own. Google Maps, YouTube and Peek Pro may set their own when you load a map, play the video or open the booking flow. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though blocking them may stop the map or the booking widget from working. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY We may update this policy. The current version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated at the top.
